*Just how are boilers heated ? They can be heated using a variety of different methods such as electric,gas,coal or fuel oil.
*Commonly alot of boilers used for heating large areas such as Schools,Hospitals etc...are fired with low pressure gas. The actual pressure is less than 1 PSI.
There Are Three Types Of Boilers
1.Water Tube. Hot combustion gases pass through the tubes (fire inside the tubes) with steam or water outside the tubes.
2.Cast Iron Sectionals. Individual sections that are hollow, designed to contain the water or steam,
and are interconnected. The hot combustion gases pass through and around the sections.
3.Fire Tube. The hot combustion gases pass through the tubes (fire inside the tubes) with the steam or water outside the tube.
